Specialized Personal Trainer – I started very young with a passion for athletics, competing in Muay Thai and MMA. This led to a passion in other sports like football and wrestling. I found myself adopting several characteristics from playing sports my whole life, such as discipline and the hard work grind mentality. I have always been one to push myself as far as I can, and once I adopted my passion in training, I truly embedded myself in this trait. After having a season ending injury in football, I automatically shifted my focus to fitness training and personal training. At the young age of 17, I began personal training. With 7 1/2 years of experience at 24 years old, I have truly pushed myself to become the best version of myself that I can be. While training people full time, I managed to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology, a Masters of Science in Advanced Exercise Science, and I will be continuing education August of 2024 in hopes of obtaining a Doctorate in Exercise Science. I have the sponge mentality, and I enjoy learning from others in the industry, staying on top of the new finds in exercise science, and developing connections with my clients. I have a huge passion in body building and crafting myself physically, mentally, and emotionally in the gym. All of the concepts I have learned throughout my educational career I apply to myself in my sessions, and figure out creative ways that I can translate them to my personal training clients to benefit them in the best way possible. I have always had wonderful role models in sports and fitness growing up, and my goal is to be that person for all of my clients as well. One of those role models being my father, who I lost at a young age. This created a spark in me that has pushed me to where I am today. The effort that I put in within the fitness industry is not only to create better opportunities for myself, but create better versions of every client that I come in contact with. I not only target the goals of the clientele, but the needs as well! There should be nothing neglected to create the image that my client strives to obtain, and my job is to provide the tools for my client to do so. 

I offer the all around experience to my clients. I know that it may be a hard road to follow and adhere to, but I relate because I have been through the journey myself. Michael Alvarado – Hybrid Personal Trainer

My fitness journey began in middle school when I decided to take basketball more seriously. I was fortunate enough to work with a coach who was determined to see me succeed on and off the court. For years, we worked together practicing hoop drills, weight training, conditioning, and challenging my overall physical and mental health. The work ethic I developed during those years stayed with me and formed a basis for many of my future endeavors.
When I became a coach in 2015, my passion for fitness and helping others started to take shape. I was fortunate to start my training career at a club that had a team of knowledgeable, successful trainers whom I was able to shadow and learn from which really set a high standard for my training. As time went on, I found myself transferring from club to club throughout California, further enhancing my skill sets and most importantly meeting passionate people in fitness along the way.

In 2017 I ruptured my patella tendon during a freak accident that really put me through some challenges. I not only had to re-learn how to walk, but I also hired some trainers to help me progressively heal safely and effectively. I knew that I could use this opportunity to learn from more experienced coaches and, at the same time, gain insight into what it’s like to be a client. I took all this in along the way whether it was with my physical therapist or one of my two coaches. I recovered from that injury with a better understanding of what it takes to improve mobility, regeneration, addressing overactive/underactive issues, posture, balance, having the right mind set, and much more.
To this day, I consider myself a student of fitness and I do my best to enlighten myself and my clients on these topics. Hey there! I’m Norelle, an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist. I grew up playing sports including gymnastics, cheerleading, dancing, soccer, and swimming, but truly found a love for fitness during my third year of university after escaping an abusive relationship. After having knee surgery and going through physical therapy in 2020, I decided to learn more about being a personal trainer and in 2021, I got certified. My name is Oubigee Jones, a native of Dallas, Texas. After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the Marine Corps, where I have proudly served for over 8+ years. Since 2020, I have been residing in San Diego.

My journey into fitness began at the age of 6 when I signed my first contract to play club soccer. Soccer was my primary sport for most of my life, and I received scholarships, coached youth programs in the U.S. and abroad, and played semi-professionally in Japan. Although I started boxing at the age of 8, it was not until I joined the Marines that my commitment to the sport intensified. I achieved significant success in boxing during my time in the Corps, including a successful amateur career and competing for the All-Marine Corps Boxing team, leading to my induction into the 2021 Hall of Fame class. Additionally, I served as a black belt martial arts instructor and a successful Drill Instructor at MCRD San Diego. In the summer of 2023, I competed in a classic physique bodybuilding competition and medaled in two different classes.

Wyatt Wermager – Functional Strength Expert

Are you looking to build functional strength, feel and look better than ever before? Look no further!My name is Wyatt Wermager, and I am the owner of Wyatt’s Workouts, operating my personal training business out of Self Made San Diego since April 2018.

I moved to San Diego from Colorado in 2018 to chase my dream of becoming a personal trainer, and now I have served 100’s of clients helping them become the strongest, most confident version of themselves.

My love for fitness began shortly after I graduated high school in 2015. I quit playing hockey after high school, and hockey was my main form of exercise for about 12 years, and I turned to the gym once my hockey career was over.

I was always a very skinny kid, but athletic. Once I got into working out, my focus was to build the strongest and most aesthetic physique possible. Over the past 8 years I have gone from a skinny 150 pounds to a solid 185 pounds without nearly any gain in body fat.

It all started out with a gym membership and a program I found on google, and it turned into getting certified through NASM, and eventually moving to San Diego to start my personal training career.

By 2020, I had built my dream body, built my dream business helping a ton of people, and then I was introduced to the game of golf.

I quickly became obsessed with it, and being a very competitive person who is chasing excellence in everything I do, golf became something I wanted to get good at.

I began studying the game of golf relentlessly, just as I had done with fitness, and my golf game started to develop quickly, and am now down to a 8 handicap in just under 4 years.

In June of 2023, I got certified through TPI (Titliest Performance Institute) to extend my knowledge on the golf specific fitness side of things, and am now working with a handful of golfers, helping them bring down their handicaps and hit the ball better than ever before.

I work with all types of people; men, women, young, middle aged, old, brand new to working out, and seasoned athletes.  And they all love it!

What I have learned along my way is that no matter if you are a new mom looking to get back into shape, or a college athlete trying to go pro, the functional strength training principals I teach are going to help you get in the best shape of your life and crush your goals.

I love working with all types of people, because ultimately everyone can use help in some way. Whether it be improving mobility to be able to put your socks on without pain, improving your endurance so you can play with your kids longer with more energy, or you’re a golfer looking to improve your game, I am here to help.
